First 12 miles of the ride we pedal along the rugged coast that leads to Almuñecar. When we turn inland,  we have the option of climbing Peña Escrita. This pass is an out and back itinerary with some of the steepest sections that Ibérica CTC ever took people on. Take it as a punishment or as a compliment!

After such a treat, now we climb La Cabra road, old road to go from Granada to the coast and now a gift for travellers with no rush.On the descent, we see Granada down in the valley and we can take a look at the Sierra Nevada peak, where tomorrow we have to climb.

The more we climb, the more we enjoy it!
