Our second stage leaves the Rhone river valley climbing Simplon Pass, on the descend we enter Italy and we can feel it and taste it stopping in the old Dommodossola main plaza before climbing to Sta. Maria Maggiore.

* Around Km 90 and 105 there are some very steep hills that will actually be ridden through tunnels.
