As a warm up for this magnificent ride, we climb the unknown Col de la Solude in a natural view point across the valley from our next climb.        Today we are going to climb the myth: Alpe D'Huez with its 21 switchbacks is waiting for us. After riding through the ski area, we continue to climb the Col de la Sarenne in a very narrow but scenic road. After a long descend, we backtrack the way we rode this morning to return to the swimming pool of our hotel in La Grave.
